NOMINATIONS are open for the British pie week pub champion 2011.
Last year’s winner, Adam Pavey created the Wye Valley Pie at the Goat Major in Cardiff. His pie was a mix of local chicken, asparagus, leeks and Tintern Abbey cheese, topped with flaky pastry. So if you’re a pub and want to nominate your own pie or a punter with a pie go to www.britishpieweek.co.uk
