A Guernsey nightclub's refusal to serve tap water has raised concerns from the island's director of public health.
The manager of the nightclub Folies D'Amour, Tony Le Marchant, said if someone needed it for medical reasons they would be happy to help.
He added the club was not obliged to offer free tap water, unlike the UK where pubs and clubs now have to provide it by law.
Dr Stephen Bridgman said the situation in the island may have to change.
He said: "I was surprised to hear about that on Guernsey and concerned.
"To start with it will be raised in the joint meeting between the alcohol strategy and those who have liquor licences and hopefully we can put in place things that voluntarily mean people will supply tap water."
